A hazardous disease leads to the suicide of the GST officer

The GST officer commits suicide by jumping off from the 30th floor of the iconic World Trade Centre at Cuffe Parade, Mumbai.
This horrifying incident occurred around 6:30 pm on Monday evening.
The deceased was later identified as Harendra Kapadia, a 51-year-old man. He was rushed to the nearby hospital, where the doctors declared him brought dead.
The police informed his family while a case of Accidental Death Record was filed. And they recorded the statement of the people who were present there on duty.
Primarily, the reason behind the suicide was unknown.
Later as per reports, Harendra stopped going to his office as he suffered a brain stroke 8 months back and got operated at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Andheri.
He again resumed his office 3 months ago after his treatment but continued suffering from Dementia.
Dementia is a chronic persistent memory disorder which is a result of brain injury.
According to the Times Now reports, the victim was keeping upset from his illness and to get rid of it he took this drastic step of suicide.
According to the frontiers in Neuroscience article, Suicide rates are high among older adults with many conditions like chronic illnesses, physical disabilities, cancer, social isolation, mental disorders, and neurocognitive disorders.
