Non Bailable Warrant against MLA Anand Singh VIOLATION OF MODEL CODE OF CONDUCT DURING ELECTION

Bengaluru: A special court for people’s representatives has ordered the issuance of a Non Bailable Warrant against MLA Anand Singh for violating the Model Code of Conduct during the 2018’s Assembly elections.

A complaint was registered against the MLA at Hospet Town Police Station during the 2018-Assembly polls for violating the Model Code of Conduct. The police had later submitted a chargesheet in the court.

A special court for people’s representatives, which was hearing the case, had summonced Anand Singh but he remained absent for three times. Subsequently, the judge ordered the issuance of a Non Bailable Warrant against Singh.
