With UP election magic number of above 300 seats in the cradle of BJP, totally tells that Modi’s popularity wave is still intact as it was in Lok Sabha Election 2014. While BJP has the majority in Lok Sabha, now after winning Assembly election, BJP will have a full majority in Upper House ( Rajya Sabha), Congress lost all the four assembly seats from Amethi which was a bastion of Nehru-Gandhi family. PM Narendra Modi while expressing his feelings over victory in UP, told he thanks the people of UP from the bottom of his heart, this historic victory of BJP is for development and good governance. He also congratulated the performance of BJP workers for a landslide victory in UP Polls. BJP Supremo Mayawati sent a complaint to EC thinking that tampering of EVM Machines took place and demanded a fresh poll. While UP chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has resigned from his post of chief minister and the governor, Ram Naik too accepted his resignation and asked him to continue till the next government takes over. Akhilesh added, I will take responsibility for the defeat only after deliberating on it’ The defeated chief minister said, until someÍn Politics, you can never say what happens.., until someone does better work than us.” Samajwadi Party workers were in a deep sulked mood and Akhilesh told them, ‘Ít is my time to leave.’ Akhilesh even said, May be people didn’t like the Expressway and they voted for the bullet train… I wonder.’ Reacting to the complaint on Mayawati Supremo on EVM issue, he replied that if the matter has been raised, it should be investigated and he even assured that if any problem was there in EVM, he will find the same through booth level analysis. To add finally, BJP supporters were seen wearing PM Modi’s mask to celebrate party’s surge outside ‘Mini PMO’ in Varanasi and hopefully there will be a definitely a Holi celebration actors UP state on BJP’s landslide victory. As former Fiance Minister P. Chidambaram had rightly said, ”Election results have established PM Modi as the most dominant person with a country-wide appeal.” If BJP was in full mood to celebrate victory in UP polls, Congress too was not far behind to congratulate Captain Amarinder Singh, by saying ”Happy Birthday to Captain”, who is likely to be chief minister of Punjab now. However, our Congratulations to Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India for BJP’s performance in 5 state elections.
