Congress Accepts Victory In Punjab, Manipur & Goa

Congress Party is indebted and humbled by the shining victory in State of Punjab as also near majority in the States of Goa and Manipur. We are confident of forming the government in all the three States. Congress Party is also winning the Amritsar Lok Sabha seat by a decisive margin of over 2 lakh votes., said a press statement from Randeep Singh Surjewala, Media Incharge, AICC.
On behalf of Congress Vice-President, Shri Rahul Gandhi and the entire Congress leadership, we thank the voters and Congress workers of Punjab, Goa and Manipur for electing the Congress Party and reposing faith in Congress ideals and policies.
Victory of the Congress Party in all the three corners of the country i.e Punjab, Goa and Manipur is a lesson to those who never tired of repeated harping about ‘Congress Mukt Bharat’. People have proved that there is a yawning gap between the ‘truth’ and ’empty rhetoric’. Congress lives in the hearts and minds of people of India and victory in the three States have proved it.
We bow before the verdict of people of the two States. We will Randeep Singh Surjewala, Media Incharge, AICC.
We hope that BJP will now shift the narrative from ‘Shamshan-Kabristan’ and ‘politics of acronyms’ to the ‘politics of development and brotherhood’ i.e. intrinsic to the ‘Ganga-Jamuni’ culture of U.P. and will provide the much needed and promised relief by waiving farmer’s loans, by giving cost + 50% profit as MSP for crops, jobs for the youth and ushering in a new era of industrialization.
Congress will introspect its defeat in two states UP and Uttarakhand.
