PAKISTAN WILL BE INDIA’S HUMDARD TO COMPENSATE SHORTAGE OF ROOH AFZA DRINK

Rooh Afza, a herbal drink made by The Hamdard Laboratories is one of the famous and most loved drink to drink during summer and during Ramadan after long fasts.
The Shortage of Rooh Afza which is one of the most widely found drink in any household has taken the internet by storm.
The Hamdard Laboratories chief officer of sales and marketing, Mansoor Ali released a statement which stated that, “the shortage of some key herbal ingredients has led to shortage of supply and the shortage will be compensated in a week.
As per reports the official stance is the lack of key ingredients but there are also reports that say that the real reason is a rift in the founder’s family.
Whatever the reason might be, this shortage has put Rooh Afza aficionados in a state of dismay this summer. Many of them from across the country took to social media to express their disappointment over not getting their favourite summer drink.
@kavitadutta_ wrote on Twitter: “It’s a drink that takes most of us back to our childhood. Never thought there’d be a time when we would get to hear of its shortage!”
Meanwhile, the sister company of Hamdard Lab in Pakistan, Hamdard Laboratories Waqf Pakistan, offered to supply the sherbet to India in the view of shortage in supply. “We can supply RoohAfza to India during this Ramadan. We can easily send trucks through Wagah border if permitted by Indian Government,”said MD and CEO of Pakistani Hamdard, Usama Qureshi in a tweet.
One of the journalist wrote to Rooh Afza “You’d rather have a surplus versus a shortage at your position”.
