Mangaluru: Seven arrested for violating section 144, lockdown directives

Mangaluru: Local police on Tuesday arrested at least seven people for allegedly violating the section 144 imposed by the District Administration and the District lockdown in the wake of spread of Corona Virus.

The arrested have been identified as James (45) of Hassan District, Vimesha of Chikkamagaluru District (30), Ameera of Uttar Pradesh, Balaram Choudhry of Rajasthan, Rahul Pandey (18) of Assam, Siddiq of Ullal and Vinay of Thokkottu.

The information was shared by the police department through an official release on Tuesday afternoon.
