Dilip Kumar’s younger brother Ehsan Khan dies at 90 due to Covid-19

Ehsaan Khan, younger brother of veteran Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar succumbed to Covid-19 on Wednesday evening in Mumbai’s Lilavati hospital.
“He was covid positive. He had heart disease, hypertension and Alzheimer’s disease.” Dr Jalil Parkar from Lilavati Hospital revealed.
On August 21, the actor’s another younger brother Aslam Khan had passed away due to Covid-19 related complications at Lilavati Hospital.
Both the brothers Ehsan Khan and Aslam Khan, were admitted to the hospital after contracting the novel coronavirus. They were admitted following low oxygen saturation levels dropped below 80 and were kept on a non-invasive ventilator.
The official announcement of this mournful event comes after Dilip Kumar’s family friend Faisal Farooqui tweeted on his behalf in Dilip’s Twitter handle, “Dilip Saab’s youngest brother Ehsan Khan, passed away few hours ago. Earlier, youngest brother, Aslam had passed away. We are from God and to Him we return. Pls pray for them. Posted by @FAISALmouthshut on behalf of #DilipKumar.”
In April, Dilip Kumar had confirmed by tweeting that he was fine and was self-isolating at his home being looked after by his loving and devoted wife Saira Banu. He also thanked everybody for the prayers and wishes.”
Earlier the legendary actor had requested all his fans to stay indoors and protect themselves from contracting the virus.
