Bengaluru: Metro services to remain suspended for couple of hours on Aug 10, 11, and 14 on some stations of Purple Line

Similarly, to carry out signalling and other related works for extending Metro services from Kengeri to Challaghatta, trains will be operated only between Baiyappanahalli and Vijayanagar Metro stations from 5 am to 7 am on August 14.

In view of scheduled signalling work, the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has decided to suspend services on the Purple Line between Baiyappanahalli and Swami Vivekananda Road stations, and K R Puram and Whitefield(Kadugodi) Metro stations from 5 am to 7 am on August 10 and 11. During this period, train services will be available between Swami Vivekananda Road and Kengeri Metro stations.

Similarly, to carry out signalling and other related works for extending Metro services from Kengeri to Challaghatta, trains will be operated only between Baiyappanahalli and Vijayanagar Metro stations from 5 am to 7 am on August 14. No services will be available between Kengeri and Vijayanagar Metro stations during the two-hour period. After 7 am, regular train services will be available across the Namma Metro network on all three days.
