AMEER-E-SHARIAT HAZRAT MAULANA MUFTI MOHAMMED ASHRAF ALI BAQAVI PASSES AWAY AT 80 IN BENGALURU

Ameer-e-Shariat Hazrat Maulana Mufti Mohammed Ashraf Ali Baqavi(80) has died early on Friday. He is an Islamic spiritual leader of Karnataka and is a known figure at international level for spiritual preaching.

The deceased was also principal of prestigious Islami Shariat College and Darul Uloom Sabeelur Rashad Arabic College.

He had also worked as working committee member of All India Muslim Personal Law Board, vice president of all India Milli Council and the member of working committee of Islami Fiqh Academy.

His Namaz-e-Janaza (funeral service) will be held at Sabeelur Rashad Arabic College on September 9 at 10 am.

The deceased left behind four sons and two daughters.
