Amazon Freedom Sale: OnePlus 6 available with extra Rs 2,000 discount
Amazon India, one of the leading e-commerce platforms in the country, is hosting its Independence Day sale from August 9 to August 12. The sale called Amazon Freedom Sale will have discounts and offers across a number of categories including smartphones and other electronic devices.
Amazon India has already started revealing some of the deals that will be part of the sale during the four days starting tomorrow. Now, OnePlus has revealed its own offers available during the sale. During the Amazon Freedom Sale, those who buy OnePlus 6 will be eligible for six months no-cost EMI. The offer will be applicable across both Amazon India, and OnePlus offline channels.
The no-cost EMI option for six months starts at Rs 5,833 per month, and customers will be eligible for additional Rs 2,000 discount on exchange of old phones. In addition to these basic offers, OnePlus 6 buyers will also receive 10 percent instant discount on all SBI debit and credit cards on Amazon India. Customers purchasing OnePlus 6 during Amazon Freedom Sale will also receive 20 percent discount on OnePlus branded accessories.
The discount on accessories will be available on OnePlus India website, and at all OnePlus exclusive offline channels. Interestingly, OnePlus says those who are unable to avail offers between August 9 and August 12 on the online channel can avail them before August 15 on all OnePlus exclusive offline channels.
OnePlus 6 has emerged as the best-selling smartphone in the premium segment since its launch in May. According to Counterpoint Research, it had a market share of 30 percent during the second quarter of 2018. OnePlus 6 managed to overtake Samsung Galaxy S9+ and new iPhone models in the premium segment.
In terms of features, the OnePlus 6 is a metal and glass smartphone with 6.28-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, up to 8GB of RAM, and 256GB storage. It features dual rear camera setup combining a 16-megapixel main sensor and a 20-megapixel secondary sensor. There is a 16-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and 1 micron pixel size.
OnePlus 6 comes with latest connectivity options like dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC and 4G VoLTE. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and it runs Android 8.1 Oreo. The smartphone is backed by a 3,300mAh battery and will be available in midnight black, mirror black, silk white and amber red color variants.
