Police informed the arrest of 110 people for arson, stone pelting and assault on police
An alleged derogatory Facebook post by a relative of Congress MLA, R Akhanda Srinivas Murthy, has caused violence in the Eastern pockets of Bengaluru, Karnataka, ANI reported.

According to the Police report, the arrest of P Naveen, was demanded by the crowd of nearly 1,000 people gathered in front of KG Halli and DJ Halli police stations. Protestors alleged that, immediate filing of complaint was refused by the officials, at KG Halli police station.
Following this, the demonstrators started raising slogans, pelting stones and torching vehicles.
District Commissioner of Police East, Bhimashankar Guled’s official car, was attacked with stones and sticks.
