Mangaluru: Thieves who broke into a liquor outlet in Ullal near here took away bottles worth Rs 1 lakh on Friday, police said. The theft took place at Mysore sales international wine shop at Ullal.

Thieves broke the shutter door of the outlet and made away with several costly and ordinary brands of liquor at a time when there is a total ban on liquor sales during the coronavirus lockdown period.

The suspects also stole the digital video recorder connected to the CCTV installed at the shop to destroy evidence. They also took away ten packets of cigarettes from a nearby pan shop, the sources said.

The Ancient Times

Because we’re journalists, we’re impatient. We want to gather the news as quickly as possible, using any technological resource available. And when we’re as sure of the story as we can be, we want to share it immediately, in whatever way reaches the most people. The Internet didn’t plant these ideas in our heads. We’ve always been this way.
