Rahul Gandhi pleads not guilty in defamation case filed by RSS activist

Mumbai: Senior Congress leader and party’s resigned President Rahul Gandhi on Thursday pleaded not guilty in a defamation case filed against him by an RSS activist for linking the murder of Karnataka Journalist Gauri Lankesh with ‘BJP-RSS ideology’.

He was released by the court on surety of Rs. 15000/-.

Former MP Eknath Gikwad gave the surety for Rahul Gandhi, according to the reports.
