160 domestic flights cancelled from Sept 8-10 over G20 Summit

Approximately 80 departing and 80 arriving domestic flights to the Delhi Airport have been cancelled for three days from September 8 to 10 due to the G20 Summit which will be held in New Delhi.

A spokesperson for Delhi’s IGI Airport said on Saturday they have received requests for the cancellation of approximately 80 departing and 80 arriving domestic flights from September 8 to 10 due to the G20 Summit which will be held in New Delhi. It added that the decision for the cancellations was made by the airlines “possibly in light of traffic restrictions due to the G20 Summit”. 

The G20 Summit will be held in New Delhi on September 9 and 10.
